
Dr. Khan has undergone refractive surgery himself and enjoys clear vision without glasses or contacts. He is originally from Wisconsin and now resides in Seattle, WA. Dr. Khan and his wife Moona have a young baby girl, Arissa. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and boating.
Dr. Khan graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and completed his ophthalmology specialty training at the University of North Carolina, where he served as Chief Resident. Following completion of his ophthalmology residency, Dr. Khan completed a cornea fellowship, which included specialized training in corneal surgery and laser vision correction at the University of Florida. Another academic accomplishment Dr. Khan completed includes a "Fellowship in Refractive Surgery" certification.
Dr. Khan has performed thousands of laser vision correction procedures and is well versed in other corneal surgeries including corneal transplants and ocular implants. He is certified and has performed surgeries with many of the leading laser systems including both Bausch and Lomb and VISX platforms and the femtosecond laser (Intralase). Dr. Khan has lectured at a variety of meetings and is currently involved with numerous projects related to LASIK. Dr. Khan also enjoys teaching and has been a clinical instructor at the University of Florida where he taught future ophthalmologists corneal and refractive surgery.
